World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
Item upgrades allow players to increase the level of armor and weapons that can be equipped. This increases the stats of that gear, as well as sometimes adding buffs or the rerolling of an affix.

It is important to note that although you can upgrade your magic and common equipment, it is generally not worth the cost. Unique and rare equipment will soon surpass the standard equipment and upgraded magic.
Cost
If a player wants to upgrade an item, they have to pay Gold for the upgrade. The cost of upgrading an item is contingent on its current level and upgrade type selected. Upgrades to weapons are generally cheaper than upgrades for armor, since weapons have lower requirements. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item is upgraded.
A new item will also have increased stats, which could boost its performance in various ways. This may include increasing its attack power or critical strike chance. The upgraded item can also add additional benefits to the unit it is equipped with. These upgrades are able to be used for a number of reasons, including to boost the overall power of an individual or group unit. They also can be a significant influence on gameplay.
The NPC for upgrading items can be located in the game. These NPCs are located in the major questing areas or capital cities. Players can also find item upgraders when they visit dungeons with high-level bosses and by talking to NPCs in their garrisons of their faction.
The upgrade system for items in World of Warcraft provides players with the possibility of upgrading the level of armor, weapons and trinkets. This process is similar to reforging of gear in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However instead of using currency, players have to visit an item upgrader to complete the process.
Upgrades to items can be costly, especially when it concerns armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade path each step in item level can cost many Valorstones and crests. The cost can be prohibitive for those who do not have the money or are unwilling to grind.
The game lets you play a reroll of an upgraded item with a special tool in the items menu. This option exchanges the upgraded item for a version at level 1 with a different set of bonus effects. This can be useful to get better scores on items that have already been upgraded, but it can also be a waste of resources.
Requirements
Upgrading is the procedure of increasing the level of equippable items, such as trinkets, weapons, and armor. This boosts their stats and can make them more effective in combat. Players can upgrade their gear by spending the appropriate amount of currency at an upgrader. Players should be aware the fact that some upgrades require special requirements.
The earliest upgrades only increase the base item's stats by one level, however later upgrades provide more significant enhancements. For example upgrading a weapon from level three to level six will boost the weapon's damage by an additional two levels. In addition, the upgraded item will receive bonus stats, which is based on the tier it's in. This bonus is a mix of a guaranteed substat as well as random generated stats that can vary from upgrade to upgrade.
A player can Reroll an upgraded item using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a new one. The new item will have an additional set of bonuses and a lower base item level. The rerolled item will also have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the rerolled item does not have its original level or any wasted resources.
Some upgraded items are only able to be rerolled only if the original item was Unique, Rare or Epic. Some exceptional items can also be allowed to be rerolled, but their original stats will be replaced with an uninvolved bonus. Rerolling an item that is Rare or Epic item will produce a Normal version, and doing the same with the Epic version will result in an elite version.
Upgraded items may have additional modifications that can enhance their performance and improve their stats. These additional modifiers are not included in the upgrade cost. item upgrading can be purchased at the Trading Post, or through other players. They can also be earned by doing specific missions within the game.
To upgrade an item of equipment, you need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine. Based on the kind of item, you will need one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is available from monsters 21+ and Giants while Dice 12 is available from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time is a factor.
Item upgrades are a way to boost your gear and ship stats without having to upgrade them. While upgrading isn't inexpensive, it's a good way to improve your stats without having spend a lot of time in combat. However, it's important to understand the benefits and costs of upgrades to your item prior to investing money or time.
Each upgrade boosts the stats of the item's base by a certain amount and gives a chance to get a bonus substat. The extra substat is a random, and can vary from a tiny increase in one statistic to an even greater increase in another. It is recommended to concentrate on the most effective items in the slot first, as they'll yield a higher return for your investment.
You can see the time required to complete an upgrade by opening your inventory and selecting an item such as a ship, weapon or accessory. The upgrade window will then show the progress and expected completion time. In some instances you might be capable of speeding up the upgrade by applying a Glyph.
Black Lion Salvage or Ascended Salvage sell a high-level salvage kit which allows you to recover all or part of the upgrade components. However, this does not include legendary equipment and upgrades which can be retrieved using an Upgrade Extractor or by recovering them through the appropriate Karma Merchant.
Enjoy the Benefits
The upgrade of items rewards players with a number of items and currencies. In addition, every upgrade is able to give a random stat bonus. The amount of bonus varies between upgrades, and is usually higher for rare items. Players can conduct a Great Vault search to see whether an item is upgradeable prior to spending tickets. The search can help determine whether the item is of a particular level and if the player would benefit by a particular upgrade.
During the upgrade process, the item will slowly move closer to the next level, but not always reach the full upgrade bar. This process uses Growthstones and Sollant but there's a 10% chance of getting an upgraded item in just one cycle. The more levels that an item is upgraded, the higher its stats will be and the more items can be upgraded.
upgrade item can be inserted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to give an attribute benefit or an additional effect when the equipment is in use. Some upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Players can purchase upgrade components through crafting, buying from vendors or on the Trading Post, looting, or obtaining a reward. In addition players can retrieve upgraded items by using an Upgrade Extractor or by salvaging them with a salvage kit. Glyphs that are placed on tools for gathering are able to be swapped.
The player can transform an item into a different upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button an arrow that indicates reroll. This will alter the layout of the game and let players select up to six items for "recycling". The item that is recycled will be exchanged for an item of level 1 similar to it. Recycled items will not keep their status or the amount of resources needed to upgrade them.
The maximum level of upgrade for an item is determined by its tier and the quality. Rare items can be upgraded to a maximum of level six while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels nine. Item upgrades are added to the item's base statistics, meaning that they do not increase after a specific point.
